My Brianna is close to being a big girl!!! We have had no #2 accident in a long long time. Going pee pee in the potty all the time is hard. We keep changing undies about 3x a day. She makes it to the bathroom but just not on the pot. With Katie in kindergarten all day it is easier to focus on Bri. I miss the newborn stage sometimes now and then when Bri actually cuddles. She is pretty independant and is one to snub you on kisses. The girls are at a great age right now. Ron and I are both enjoying watching them grow up.

My mom was in town and she was generous enough to watch

the children while Ron and I enjoyed church with no kids,

several hours on the boat, and then a romantic dinner out.

Well overdue! I love my husband!!! I am so spoiled!!!!

Thanks for the help mom!!!!

Sky Diving!!!! Aug. 30, 2008 Jennifer Stafford and Me

Sky Diving with Jennifer Stafford was an amazing experience. I was not sure I would ever get to do it. Ron was never really ok with it prior to me actually mentioning it before but it was something I wanted to experience. How great was it? Not as thrilling as I had anticipated. Jumping off the high dive was more scary. I will do this again someday.

Katie! Katie! What a little lady!

My Katie had her first real day at Kindergarten on Tues.. Full class and full day. I dropped her off in the car line and she walks to the other side of the school to find her class. ALL BY HERSELF!!! No tears! "Mom, I know, I know, I can find my own class"! As I wait in the car line I see Katie standing there quiet and with a big smile on her face. I am so proud. God gave Ron and me the tools to give Katie her self confidence. It is so exciting but, also hard to watch her already starting to spread her wings. The first thing she says when she gets in the car is, " I HATE Andrew, he doesn't want to be my best friend anymore and I HATE him.!" I told Katie she was just mad b/c Andrew hurt her feelings b/c he wants to have a lot of friends not just her. She agreed.
So we get home and Brandy next door calls and asks out to join her and the kids for dinner. I agreed and her daughter Kaleigh rode with us. Kaleigh is in kindergarten too. Kaleigh said, "ME and Katie were mean to a little girl today!" I couldnt' believe it. I was so shocked my little girl was mean to someone. And, ON PURPOSE!!! Kaleigh said this little girl kept trying to play with them and was whining the girls weren't playing with her. Kaleigh mimicked the girl and it sounded just like Katie does when we play with Andrew who is in kindergarten too. "Why won't you play with me? I just want to play with you?" Kaleigh went on to say they were mean b/c Katie was the one who didn't want to play with the little girl.
Then we arrive to the restaurant and the girls were jumping the booths and spinning around on the table. I was so shocked. I guess my little lady is learning things just fine at school.

Kindergarten Baby! Wash your face in gravy!

I have a kindergartener!!! Does this make me officially old? Today was Kaitlin's 1st full day of kindergarten and I did NOT cry!!!!! Yea Mommy!!! My mother was here for a few days and taught Katie and Bri to sing, "Kindergarten Baby wash your face in gravy!!" It is so sweet to hear Bri singing it. Katie has a teacher Ms. Woody who seems to be a great teacher for her. The kids have uniforms and it makes a mommy proud when a child brushes their teeth and dresses themself before you even wake up to wake them up. Katie and Bri got their hair cut yesterday and it was so cute both of them talking about how cute they are. Bri was telling daddy all about it this morning since he was at work in the afternoon as usual.
My darling Brianna kept asking all day, "Where's sissy?" Well Ron and I will have to keep you posted next week.
Katie went to the dentist on tuesday and she had NO cavities but.... when they told me her 2 bottom teeth were getting loose I almost cried. Really!!! It just seems like time is flying so fast. She is starting kindergarten, and wants to be with her friends all the time, and NOW loose teeth. This year is going to be full of suprises.

My Luck

As many know my family and I are constantly battling some sort of health issue. Ear infections, hand & foot rash, strept, head colds, coughs, pink eye, and for 2 whole months we were healthy. Bri had a slight ear infection, then Kaitlin had an ear infection, the ear infections go away, now Bri has a head cold, I have a head cold, and Ron feels an itch in his throat. School has not even started. ARGH! The ear infections are easy and not contagious so it is no biggie with the girls having tubes and I have a supply of ear drops.

I am feeling a bit anxious for Katie to start Kindergarten. I have enjoyed spending my days with Katie over these last 5 yrs. She did go to Mother's Day Out 2x aweek and I felt great about that. But... Now I have to cut a couple of apron strings and let her grow up and go to kindergarten 5x a week and for full days. I am a little excited to spend some alone time with Brianna but it seems so hard to not have that with Katie anymore. I know I know I know I will be just fine and so will Katie. I just have to find a new routine. I don't handle change as well as I used to. I do look forward to posting pictures of Katie's first full day next Wed..
